Community, first
As District Leader, my goal is to raise issues that are of importance to our community, particularly around transportation safety and public education. Our community has one of the most dangerous corridors in the city under the Gowanus Expressway, Third Avenue as a community, we need to be at the front for solutions that will not just better safety along our waterfront, but furthers climate resiliency.
Voter Education
We also work tirelessly to education voters on upcoming elections and along with our Brooklyn County Committee members, conduct voter registration events throughout the district. Assembly District 51 has one of the lowest voter turnout rates in Brooklyn and it’s crucial we engage our neighbors to get out the vote during our elections.
Reforming our Party
The Democratic Party has lost touch with its goals and mission; elect good Democrats across our borough and ensuring we are representing Brooklynites with integrity and transparency.
